■ WalkthroughWALKTHROUGH

  1. Hear Chris's explanation

Hear Chris's explanation on Pioneer 2 and receive the Navi Tool. Check how to extinguish fires and rescue people.

  2. Extinguish fires with attacks

Go down to the fire scene and attack the flames to extinguish them. A weapon with range helps you reach distant fires.

  3. Rescue three people in each zone

Extinguish the flames, approach a stranded person and choose the coordinate-setting option to rescue them. Find three people in each of the three zones while fighting the fires.

  4. Check your progress with the Navi Tool

Contact Chris through the Navi Tool on the Quest Board to check fire suppression and rescue totals. Continue exploring when the next zone becomes accessible.

  5. Report the rescue results and choose whether to continue

Rescue all nine people and report to Chris. If anyone was injured, proceed to completion. If everyone was rescued unharmed, another fire is reported. Accept the request twice to enter the additional mission. Declining still allows you to collect the reward for the first rescue.

  6. Defeat the cause of the fires in the additional mission

If you accept the additional request, return to the scene and deal with the renewed fires and aggressive native creatures. After the battle farther inside, return to Chris and finish the dialogue about the cause.

  7. Collect the reward at the Guild counter

Once your work at the scene is finished, return to Pioneer 2, finish Chris's dialogue and collect the reward at the Guild counter.

■ TipsTIPS

After returning from the first fire, hear the rest of Chris's dialogue before ending the quest at the counter.

You can complete the regular quest by rescuing all nine people even if some are injured. To pursue the second-fire mission and BEE mail, rescue everyone unharmed in the first rescue.

The gate to the next zone opens after you rescue its three people and extinguish the required fires. If flames remain after rescuing all nine people, check the Navi Tool and continue until the all-area safety confirmation appears.

The Area 2 door marked 08 unlocks when fire suppression reaches at least 44%. If it remains closed, keep extinguishing fires and check the Navi Tool.

Teleporting someone while flames still surround them can leave them injured. For an unharmed rescue, extinguish nearby flames before choosing the coordinate-setting option.

Techniques cannot be used in this quest. Prepare a weapon suitable for extinguishing fires.

Rescue Bogard before rescuing Anna.

■ Receiving BEE mailEXTRA

  1. Rescue everyone without injuries in the first fire. Extinguish flames promptly and avoid delaying people with repeated conversations. Complete the following conversations before the second fire starts.
  2. After rescuing Bogard and Anna, talk to Bogard in Forest 2 to receive his BEE mail. Then talk to Anna to receive hers. Talking to Anna first by itself does not meet the condition for her mail.
  3. Rescue Nadja unharmed, then talk to her on Pioneer 2 after returning to receive her BEE mail.
  4. A person whose mail you have already received on the same difficulty will not give it again. Read the mail on the Quest Board.
