Talk to Mome at the Guild and set out to examine the computer in the Mines.

2. Examine the computer in Mines 2

Proceed from Mines 1 to Mines 2 and check the doctor's computer for information about the drainage duct. Listen to Mome's entire conversation.

3. Reach the transporter to the underground channel

Use the transporter at the back of the Mines to enter the underground channel. You do not need to go through the main adventure's Caves from the beginning.

4. Defeat De Rol Le

Finish the battle against test subject Beta 772 in the underground channel. Afterwards, talk to Mome and advance the conversation about returning.

5. Hear Mome's final conversation and return

After the underground channel battle, listen to Mome's entire conversation urging you to return to Pioneer 2. Return and collect the reward at the Guild counter.

■ TipsTIPS

Protect Mome throughout the quest. Do not return after examining the computer; continue through the underground channel battle.

The quest fails if Mome's HP reaches zero in battle. Watch his HP and avoid letting enemies surround him.

For a door controlled by several floor switches, step on each required switch. Return to the door after activating them all.
