■ WalkthroughWALKTHROUGH

1. Have Shino accompany you

Talk to Shino at the Guild and enter the Ruins to search for her master, Zoke.

2. Find Kamui in Ruins 2

Continue from Ruins 1 into Ruins 2. Defeat every enemy where Shino detects a signal to trigger the conversation about finding Kamui. Kamui is also added to the Quest Board.

3. Finish the next battle and find Yasha

Continue through Ruins 2 and clear the next hall. Listen to the entire conversation about finding Yasha, then proceed further inside.

4. Clear the final hall and speak to Zoke

Defeat all enemies, including reinforcements, in the innermost hall and speak to Zoke. The brief voice heard when examining him before the battle ends does not advance the quest. After hearing his final words, speak to Shino and finish the scene in which she entrusts you with Sange.

5. Return to the Guild

Return to Pioneer 2 and collect the reward at the Guild counter.

■ TipsTIPS

The Sange entrusted to you by Shino is a quest progression item. This scene does not award the equippable Sange weapon.

The quest fails if Shino's HP reaches zero in battle. Watch her HP and avoid letting enemies surround her.

For a door controlled by several floor switches, step on each required switch. Return to the door after activating them all.

■ The final part of Bernie's investigationEXTRA

1. On the same difficulty, progress through Bernie's conversations in Waterfall Tears, Black Paper and Knowing One's Heart, in that order.
2. Find the fallen Bernie in the Ruins and hear his final conversation. Complete the regular quest as well.
3. This conversation also leads to additional dialogue in The Retired Hunter.

■ Turning Agito (1975) into OrotiagitoEXTRA

1. Start the quest with Agito (1975, made by Dousetsu). Agitos from other years cannot be converted.
2. Speak to the elderly sword expert on Pioneer 2 and have him examine Agito.
3. When asked whether to entrust the sword to him, accept. Hand over Agito (1975) and receive Orotiagito.
4. The conversion cannot be repeated on a difficulty where it has already been performed. Unequip the material Agito first.
